Europe Trip post #3

On Tuesday,  we were off again. After crossing the historic Rhine River we made a lunch stop in Liechtenstein. Then made our way to a region called Tyrol & arrived in a village called Seefeld. Another beautiful place where there were many moments to stand in awe of our Creator God! We went to Innsbruck & visited the Wilten Basilica. We also had an unexpected opportunity to go inside the stadium where the Olympic Ski Jump was held.
One day we took a 10hrs bus ride (to & from) Venice. Then 1hr boat ride to & from St.Mark's Square.  It was extememly hot & humid. To walk in St.Mark's, there was a dress code. Short to knees & shoulders couldn't show. I had to pay 1 Euro for a piece of cloth to cover my legs b/c my short were too short. Some had to cover their shoulders also. We went through the glassblowing factory then off to walk the crowded streets of Venice. My favorite was seeing the Opera House. We couldn't go past the lobby b/c it was opening night.
Near the end of our time in Austria, the choir & band performed in Seefeld!  They did a great job and had a great crownd despite the rain!!

The famous Orange FANTA!  Ready to get on the bus & head to Seefled!

Venice was beautiful but HOT & HUMID!!!

The Opera House!!

Couldn't get in to see the inside but this is what it looks like!

They say the pizza is great, but I was way to hot to eat. The place where we ate was open. No air conditioning. But I did enjoy one of the best bottles of lemon aid!

Glass blowing place

Hand made masks were made there too!

This is where Vivaldi was baptised

After a long, hot, humid 7hrs in Venice we were on our way back to the bus for the 5hr trip back to Seelfed Austria!
